Cheryl Cole Issues Warning About Autobiography: 'I've Got A Lot Of Stuff To Put Straight'

'I've Got A Lot Of Stuff To Put Straight'

Cheryl Cole's new autobiography was already going to be THE must-have book of the year (Fifty Shades Of, what?), but after what she's admitted today we'll be dashing to the shops even quicker when it hits shelves next month.

Why? Well, she's reiterated that those who have crossed her should be worried about its explosive contents.

In an interview with Denise Van Outen on today's This Morning, Cheryl vowed to set the record straight on the constant media interest in her life, issuing a warning that is bound to scare ex-husband Ashley Cole and her former X Factor boss Simon Cowell.

When asked if there are people who will be worried about its release, she said: "Only if they think they should be! If they think they should be then they probably should..."

She added: "I've actually got a lot of stuff to say and things to put straight and its been a cathartic experience - more than I thought. Draining - but really good to just get everything out and on to a piece of paper."

On The Jonathan Ross Show last Saturday, the singer admitted she had told Ashley about the book, so he can "leave the country two weeks before".

"I didn't have to, but I let him know what was happening," she added.

This week, Heat magazine revealed that the book contains a lot more on the topic of Ashley than first thought, adding it was to be her "story's most shocking chapters".

A source told the mag: "There were rumours it would only be a few pages on Ashley, but it's actually a big part of the book as it was a big part of her life.

"She's never revealed what happened between them and how their marriage fell apart," they added.

Ahead of the book's release, Cheryl is due to embark on her first solo tour next month.

In the interview on This Morning, she also revealed her strange backstage demands, admitting she will be asking for puppies to play with.

"Sweets, chocolates, jellies... and I love a biscuit. And puppies so I can play with puppies! I do have my own dogs, but they are old now and they're not as much fun - they're lazy. I want babies!" she said.

J-Lo would be proud.
