Amy Winehouse would have been 29 today - 14 September.
It's a day to look back and celebrate the soul sensation and lyrical genius' musical legacy, but it also marks the Amy Winehouse Foundation's first birthday.
Set up in memory of the singer, who died on July 23, 2011, by her father Mitch Winehouse, the foundation supports charitable activities in support of disadvantaged young people.

In its first year, the Amy Winehouse Foundation has pledged £232,000 with a target of donating £500,000 by the end of 2012
Donations have included £35,360 to the New Horizon Youth Centre, £20,000 to Fitzrovia Youth In Action and a full scholarship to the Sylvia Young Theatre School, where Winehouse was once a student.
Other charities who have benefited from the foundation include The Pilion Trust - Crash Pad Shelter, London Irish Centre, Focus 12, MS Society, Laura Lynn Children's Hospice, Hopes & Dreams, Little Havens Hospice and Chestnut Tree House Hospice.
In Mitch's touching memoir Amy, My Daughter, he describes how "one major factor helping me through the months after Amy's death was creating the foundation that carries her name".
The charity benefited from all advances for the book, thought to be 1.2m euros, and is generating funds from all incoming royalties from the biography.
Other proceeds to the Amy Winehouse Foundation have been generated from sales of the charity single involving the singer’s duet with Tony Bennett, Body and Soul, as well as proceeds from the album Lioness: Hidden Treasures.
On the anniversary of Amy's death this year, Mitch blogged for The Huffington Post UK and told how: "Sometimes listening to Amy's music helps me; sometimes it makes me feel more sad. I miss Amy more than I can say." Read the full blog here.
