Daniel Craig Pays Visit To Liverpool Football Club, Seen In Fly-On-The-Wall TV Documentary 'Being Liverpool'

Is Daniel Craig The Inspiration Liverpool Need This Season?

Liverpool FC gets a very stirring visitor to the club in the second in the fly-on-the-wall series Being Liverpool, airing tonight on Channel 5.

Daniel Craig took time out of his country-serving duties as James Bond to travel to the revered northern football club and meet some of the players - including club captain Steven Gerrard and striker Andy Carroll, in the days before he was loaned to West Ham.

Wow - just the thought of crossing the Liverpool threshold caused Daniel Craig to grow an Ian Rush-inspired 'tache

just when the cameras were whirring for the behind-the-scenes look at just how a club of this stature operates on a day-to-day basis, and the efforts of manager Brendan Rodgers to bring a new brand of attacking football to the club, following the departure of club totem Kenny Dalglish after the club's FA Cup final defeat at the end of the 2011/2012 season.

He's got a little way to go, though...

Can James Bond bring the club the inspiration it needs? Watch the clip above.
