Gangnam Style Performed By Filipino Prison Inmates In Mass Dance Routine (VIDEO)

WATCH: Filipino Prisoners Perform Mass 'Gangnam Style' Routine

How would you spend your time if you were incarcerated in a maximum security jail?

Reflect on your evil deeds and beg for spiritual forgiveness? Make the most of your time and earn a degree? Or perhaps continue with your criminalistic tendencies and get fully involved in some good ol' gang activity?

Well, if you were an inmate at Philippines' Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center, you would be 'gently persuaded' to get down to some mass dance routines instead.

The prison, which introduced programme of choreographed exercise routines as a means of rehabilitation, went down in YouTube history when their 2007 video of inmates performing Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' went on to be viewed over 50 million times.

The inmates have now turned their attention to Psy's mega-hit 'Gangnam Style'. One lucky prisoner got the lead role of Psy whilst the rest performed a rather impressive mass routine behind him.

They are not the first however, to get involved in the Gangnam hype. A plethora of parodies have sprouted up on the internet but or favourite has to be this HuffPostUK original featuring some rather unexpected political heavyweights
