James Bond Star Daniel Craig's Big Complaint, On The Eve Of 'Skyfall' Release

Daniel Craig's Big Complaint

Daniel Craig misses the days he could get drunk in a bar without fear of someone taking his picture, insisting it's impossible for celebrities to live a "normal life".

The Brit became an international superstar when he landed the role of James Bond in 2005, and he has been fiercely protective of his private life ever since.

Now the star has opened up about his struggles with life in limelight, and admits he wishes he could enjoy a drink in public without worrying about the pictures ending up in the press.

He tells Vanity Fair, "You talk to people in the movie business who have been doing this 40 years and they all say the difference is that, back in the day, you could go and have a drink in the bar, get drunk, fall over, have a good time, relax, whatever, and no one would know about it. But now everyone's got a camera.

Daniel Craig... just wants a normal life

"Not that all I want to do is get drunk in a bar, but that's an example. So you can't live a normal life anymore. Because it will become public knowledge that you're whatever - gotten drunk in a bar or skinny-dipped on a beach or something. Things that normal people do occasionally... (It) is sad, because I like bars."

Skyfall is in UK cinemas on 26 October. Pictures below...
