Aussie Man Thrown Out Of Bar 'For Having A Mullet'

Uh-oh - hair we go! A man claims he was thrown out of a bar in Perth, Western Australia, simply for having a mullet. (We should just add that the man in question wasn'tMichael Bolton. We've just used his picture for illustrative hair purposes.)

David Hoogland, who'd been enjoying a drink with a group of friends and his fiancée, says he was asked to leave a trendy rooftop hangout after just 30 minutes when staff took objection to his 'do.

"I'm just an everyday person," Hoogland, who's spent the past 10 years cultivating his distinctive tresses, told The West Australian. "I agree if you're being rowdy, out of control, drunk or abusive then you should be kicked out but if you're just sitting down having a chat and a quiet social drink, I think that's pretty rude."
