A 20-year-old woman has died following a crash on the M4 stretch of motorway between Bristol and Bath, after getting out of a car following a collision.
Police said the victim, who was from Bath, was in a Volkswagen Polo and involved in a collision, got out of her car, and was hit by a number of other oncoming vehicles.
The incident happened close to the junction of the M32.
Police teams are investigating the incident, and the M4 was closed westbound between junctions 18 and 19 until midday on Sunday, but normal traffic is expected

The Highways Agency said normal traffic conditions were expected Sunday afternoon.
