MUSIC BOX: Swedish House Mafia Triumph, Plus Gigs To Look Out For

CHART TOPPERS

Adele + James Bond = a sure-fire number one? You'd think.

But alas, the hugely successful singer been beaten to the top of the UK singles chart by Swedish House Mafia - a Swedish dance group of whom most people can't name its members.

Their tune 'Don't Worry Child', which features John Martin and is admittedly pretty great, was locked in a battle for the top with the British singer's 'Skyfall' all week.

Last week's number one, Rihanna's 'Diamonds', slipped to number four, while Psy's global phenomenon 'Gangnam Style' held on to a top three place.

Meanwhile, folk four-piece Mumford & Sons regained the top spot in the album chart with 'Babel', knocking Muse's 'The 2nd Law' out of the number one position.

Ellie Goulding's 'Halcyon' was a new entry at number two and Jeff Lynne, the Electric Light Orchestra frontman, had a top 10 album with his solo record 'Long Wave', in at seven, while his band's greatest hits compilation entered the chart at eight.

Further down the chart, critics' darlings Tame Impala scored a top 20 album with their psychedelic rock effort 'Lonerism', new in at 14.
