Three girls aged between eight and nine are said to have watched porn on Babestation, the Freeview adult channel, while on a school trip.
The children are also said to have viewed what the Sun describes as a 'harrowing documentary about rape' while on the trip to Skegness - astonishingly while their teachers were allegedly drinking in a pub.
The Sun claims that more 30 children have now been removed from Burton Joyce School in Nottinghamshire after parents made complaints about staff practices. The school caters for pupils aged four to 11 and has 308 students. It was given a 'good' status by Ofsted in its last inspection in March 2009.
One outraged parent told the paper that no one was checking what the pupils were up to.
The unnamed source said the children 'had access to a TV and there was no supervision', claiming the girls had watched 'Babestation, free porn films' and 'a documentary about rape'. The parent also said there was a statement 'somewhere' saying that the staff were all drinking at the time.
The school trip took place in the spring term. It is reported that parents only found out what had happened when one of the little girls said to her mum 'you can't wear that skirt Mummy, you'll be asking for it.'
Two of the girls involved are said to still be attending the school.
The Telegraph says that at least four governors have resigned as a result of the 'shocking porn allegations'. One still in place, Eric Ashworth, said he did not believe that child protection measures at the school have been 'rigorous enough'.
Mr Ashworth, who is a former teacher, has called for the school's head, Margaret Gretton to be suspended while an inquiry takes place.
Councillor Philip Owen, committee chairman for children and young people's services at the county council, said an investigation was underway to examine how the school was being run.
The school itself has not made any comment about the allegations.
