New mum Adele has been bombarded by sick jibes from online trolls following the birth of her baby.
The 'Rolling in the Deep' hitmaker and her boyfriend, Simon Konecki, welcomed a son on Friday night, but rather than celebrate the star's happy news, twisted tweeters took to the social networking site to make vile jokes about the tot.
A user using the name Vanessa Bieber wrote, "Aw Adele gave birth to a baby. Is it fat and handicapped lol? Just murder it already lol."
Another sick tweeter called bRoliQ senselessly added: "Maybe her baby will die?"
Meanwhile, several users retweeted a nasty comment about the superstar's size which said: "Adele was pregnant? I thought she was fat."
Despite the sickening abuse Adele has faced online, she is focusing on the exciting task of being a proud new mum - and she's so besotted with her bundle of joy, she's snubbing royalty.
The star will miss out on the upcoming world premiere of the new Bond film, 'Skyfall' - for which she penned the theme tune - on Tuesday, despite it being attended by Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
"Now he's here, she can't bear heading out without him, even to hobnob with royalty."
