Beyonce Endorses Obama With Handwritten Note, Saying: 'You Inspire Us Every Day'

'You Inspire Us Every Day': Which Pop Star Has Just Endorsed Obama?

With the election going right down to the wire, Obama will welcome any boost to his campaign he can get - including a handwritten endorsement from a pop star.

The first lady of American pop music Beyonce is no stranger to the President - she and her husband have met Obama and Michelle many times before, and only yesterday Jay-Z was onstage in Ohio telling Democrats he has "99 problems but a Mitt 'aint one" - and has declared her support for the incumbent by posting on her official website.

Obama, of course, has one big problem (for the next few hours at least) and Mitt is it, so anything that can help rouse the all-important youth vote across America will be considered a plus.

Obama's other celebrity endorsements in the campaign have included comedians Chris Rock, Ellen Degeneres and Will Ferrell, musicians Aretha Frankiln, Katy Perry and Alicia Keys and director Steven Speilberg.

Romney, on the other hand, has been backed by KISS front man Gene Simmons, former porn star Jenna Jameson, rock star Kid Rock and of course Donald Trump and Clint Eastwood.
