McFly's Harry Judd Celebrates Stag Do At Boarding School Old Buckingham Hall

A Stag Do In A School, Harry?

Pop star Harry Judd clearly has fond memories of his days as a student - he headed back to his old boarding school for his stag do.

The McFly drummer is busy preparing for his December wedding to violinist Izzy Johnston, but took time out from the planning last month to celebrate his last days as a single man.

Harry and his friends - including his bandmates and Strictly Come Dancing pal Robbie Savage - went to Old Buckingham Hall in Suffolk, where they stayed in dorms and played cricket and football.

The 26 year old doesn't drink - but his mates downed plenty of booze on his behalf.

He tells The Mirror: "My best men sorted out the party, they contacted the school and we were able to stay there as it was half term. It's in the middle of the countryside and we all stayed in dormitories.

"I don't drink but my friends do. It was a lot of fun as it's hard to pick on the stag when he doesn't drink but they did their best to pick on me."

And it was former footballer Robbie who provided the most entertainment.

Harry explains: "Robbie came along and loved it. He managed to come for one day and stayed over. It was really amusing having pillow fights with Robbie Savage at three in the morning.

"It was like a giant sleepover. There was 25 of us all staying in dorms in single beds so you can imagine the carnage. It was like a grown-up boarding school."

Lovestruck Harry has clearly found a good match in Izzy - the pair triumphed on Wednesday's episode of ITV1's All Star Mr and Mrs.

The couple fended off competition from Lisa Maxwell and Sian Reeves to reach the final - and they earned £15,000 for the Eyes Alight charity, which grants wishes for youngsters with brain injuries.

Izzy admitted that the cause is close to their hearts because her brother was left brain damaged following a car crash in 1997.

In a post on her Twitter.com page after the show, she wrote: "Thank you SO much AllStarMrandMrs... £15,000 will make such a HUGE difference for eyes alight we had such a giggle too!"
