Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2's Taylor Lautner Says Neither He, Kristen Stewart Nor Robert Pattinson Have Changed

TWILIGHT: 'Robert And Kristen Haven't Changed'

Taylor Lautner has insisted he and his 'Twilight' co-stars have kept their feet firmly on the ground.

The actor was catapulted to fame aged just 15 when he took on the role of werewolf Jacob Black in the massively successful film franchise, which also stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

As the vampire series draws to a close with the final instalment, Taylor said: "In some ways we've probably changed a bit. We've all grown up a ton. I started when I was 15 years old, so we've matured a bit and we've learned so much, learned from each other.

The three stars of the Twilight franchise have "learned from each other" according to Taylor Lautner

"But in other ways I hope that we haven't changed who we are as people through this time, and I hope the people that know me best would say that about me. But I can absolutely say that about my fellow castmates. They're the same people today that they were a while ago before any of this and that's amazing."

Taylor said the final movie, 'Breaking Dawn - Part 2', was a fitting end to the franchise.

"I'm so happy with how it's ended and I can't believe I'm sitting where I am today. I'm so thankful for that and I wouldn't regret a thing," he said.

"I think (fans) will really love this movie and it wraps the whole franchise up very nicely and I'm definitely predicting a few tears in the audiences."

But the heartthrob admitted he found it tough to watch the early 'Twilight' films back, when he had to sport a long wig as Jacob.

"Whenever I watch those movies, with the wig on, I cringe every single time. When anybody shows me a picture of it, it's tough to look at," he confessed.

'Twilight: Breaking Dawn, Part 2' is in UK cinemas from Friday. More stills of this lot in action below...
