The Tory MP who tweeted his shotgun-equipped bloodlust towards a "beautiful antlered stag" on Monday, was once found taking a lorry-load of sheep on a country jaunt wearing no trousers.
Glynn Davies apologised on Tuesday for the deer shooting tweet-but only for his choice of weapon, saying a "rifle" would have been better.
Far from being the first animal controversy Davies has been in, the Daily Mirror reports Davies that was pulled over by police in 1999 for having a faulty tail light.
He got out of his vehicle to reveal he was wearing "only wellies, jumper and underpants", telling police “I had to take my trousers off because they were covered in farmyard manure".
Police decided he wasn't trying to pull the wool over their eyes and let him move on.
