An Austrian bus driver who found a bag stuffed with €390,000 (£316,387) handed it in to police who traced the elderly woman who had left it behind, reports Reuters.
The man, named only as Wolfgang R, was doing an end of shift inspection of his vehicle when he came across the fortune which he thought was "shopping or medicine".
Instead he opened it up to be confronted by hundreds of banknotes.
