Cheryl Cole Puts Solo Stuff On The Back-Burner

Cheryl Cole has postponed the release of her next solo single, 'Screw You', as it was all getting a bit confusing tying in her media campaign with the Girls Aloud's 10th anniversary reunion material.

According to The Mirror, the original plan was for Cheryl's solo material to get the benefit of all the hype currently surrounding the five girls returning to the stage and studio together, and vice versa.

But, in practice, it's all got a bit confusing, hence the decision to delay the release of Cheryl's next track. Read more here...

Earlier this week, Girls Aloud debuted their video for their Christmas ballad 'Beautiful Cause You Love Me', striking a very different mood from Cheryl's defiant, 'I'm-off-men' number.

The five, who recently made their live stage comeback on BBC's Children in Need, released their Greatest Hits earlier this week, but this is a brand new track, just in time for Christmas.
