Brooklyn Beckham Has Trial At Chelsea

David Beckham's oldest son, Brooklyn, has reportedly had a trial with Champions League winners Chelsea.

According to the Daily Mail, 13-year-old Brooklyn played in a low-key academy game as he sampled the junior level of English football.

His father was pictured with a Chelsea youth-teamer at the club's Cobham training ground, which initially prompted some gullible supporters to assume Beckham was joining the Blues.

Yet to confirm where he will next play after he left LA Galaxy, Brooklyn's trial tallies with Beckham's desire for his family to settle in London again.

Beckham was accompanied by his three sons for Manchester United's FA Cup draw at West Ham United earlier this month, but left before Robin van Persie's superb equaliser.

Brooklyn was born in March 1999 the day after Beckham inspired Manchester United's 2-0 Champions League quarter-final win over Internazionale, assisting both of Dwight Yorke's goals.

Months later, the former England captain won the Treble with United and married Spice Girl Victoria Adams.
