MUSIC BOX: Dutch Dance Duo Score A Full House

CHART TOPPERS

Dutch dance duo Bingo Players have scored their first UK number one with a track that failed to make the top 40 in their native country, the Official Charts Company said.

Their single, 'Get Up (Rattle)', featuring Far East Movement knocked pop princess Britney Spears and Will.I.Am with 'Scream & Shout' off the summit.

The music video featuring a gang of urban vigilante ducks has attracted more than three million views on YouTube.

Meanwhile, the film cast of 'Les Miserables' topped the album charts for the second week running, with Emeli Sande's 'Our Version of Events' still at number two.

GIGS TO LOOK OUT FOR

Super cool Barcelona music festival, Primavera Sound, has announced its line-up for 2013.

Blur and duo The Postal Service, with their surprising comeback, will headline the festival, which takes place from 22 May to 26.

Blur will play at Primavera

Beyonce's sister Solange, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Phoenix and My Bloody Valentine will also take to the stage under what will hopefully be sunshine.

Along with The Jesus And Mary Chain, Wu-tang Clan, Animal Collective, The Knife, Fiona Apple, Band Of Horses and James Blake.

They'll be joined by Local Natives, Crystal Castles, Disclosure, Hot Chip and Simian Mobile Disco.

OPEN YOUR EARS

His vocals featured on the brilliant top 20 song 'Latch', produced by garage-house UK duo Disclosure last year, and now Sam Smith has got his own single.

'Lay Me Down', written about losing someone close to you, showcases Smith's stunning sound in the simplest way.

South London brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, who make up Disclosure, produced the track but it's a far cry from their normal dance sound.

Taken from their new EP, out on Monday 18 March, the video for 'High Hopes' features Irish actor Liam Cunningham – currently starring in 'Game Of Thrones'.
