Katie also accused Kelly of 'comfort eating' in her weekly column in The Sun, saying she was 'FLABbagasted' after seeing snaps of Kelly in her bikini on holiday in Miami following her split from rugby star Thom Evans.
But now Kelly has hit back at Pricey and defended her curves.
When asked by Now magazine who she thought the rudest celeb was, Kelly replied: "Well, judging by what you've just told me, I'd say Katie Price.
"I actually wish her all the best. It's sad isn't it? I think it's a bit sad."
And in another interview with OK! magazine, Kelly revealed she'd received widespread support from women for representing curvier girls in the media.
“Women would contact me and say they loved my body and I was beautiful.”
And Kel couldn't resist having a bit of a dig at girls - like Katie - who have gone under the knife, saying: "Faces with too much filler look horrible. So many girls do it as a quick fix and it just makes you look older."
Katie later issued an apology to Kelly, despite initially taking to Twitter to defend her comments as "just commenting on what I've noticed".
She said: "I'm sorry if I caused you any offence, Kelly. As well as calling you a heffer, which was misjudged, I did say that you were beautiful and hot – and I meant it.
"A lot of my friends are bigger than the average girl and I'm not exactly skinny myself - certainly not the size six that some people have talked about."
And if anyone was still in any doubt of Kelly's natural beauty then the makeup-free snap she posted on Instagram (below) might help convince them.
We wonder if Katie would dare do the same...
