Brian McFadden Would 'Love' Westlife Reunion.. Isn't It A Bit Late?

Too Little, Too Late?

Brian McFadden has revealed that he would "love" to reunite with his Westlife bandmates.

The 32-year-old Irish singer left the boy band in 2004 when they were at the height of their fame, but now hopes that they can work together in the future.

"I'd love to do something with the boys again and probably one day we will. But if they get back together in five years to celebrate 20 years of getting together and they don't invite me, then I will be p***ed off," he told The Sun.

Brian, who is now based in Australia and is releasing his new solo album The Irish Connection, admitted there are "no bad vibes" between him and the rest of the band, and admitted that he didn't mind not being invited on the group's Farewell tour last year.

"There are no bad vibes. I spoke to Mark Feehily the other day on the phone and Nicky Byrne a year ago," he said.

As for the tour, he explained: "There was never even a conversation. I spoke to Kian (Egan) around the time and neither of us brought it up. I was in Westlife for six years and the Westlife that was together for the next seven was a different band. It wasn't the Westlife that I was in that was retiring.

"Maybe some of the fans would have liked it (if I was there) - but for me and them it wouldn't make any sense," he added.
