It's only been a matter of days since Helen Flanagan last found herself at the centre of yet more controversy and now she's been forced to defend her actions again after she came under attack for her love of leather handbags despite coming out as a supporter of PETA.
Just days after she was forced to deny she was pro-anorexia, the former 'Corrie' star posted a snap of herself wearing a t-shirt with the animal welfare organisation's logo emblazoned across the front on Instagram.

She captioned the pic with the message: 'Proud to be supporting PETA'.
But fast forward a few hours and Helen posted another photo of her carrying two designer leather handbags - something that didn't go unnoticed by some of her Twitter followers who pointed out PETA's stance on the use of leather.

Undeterred, Helen jumped to her own defence, saying: "I'm sorry but this is ridiculous leave me alone! I've done something for charity- exotic animals are killed in a cruel way for there [sic] skins, leather is not!
"Stop picking on me. Enough."
But we're pretty sure PETA wouldn't agree. Their website states: "Buying leather directly contributes to factory farms and slaughterhouses because skin is the most economically important byproduct of the meat industry.
"With every pair of leather shoes that you buy, you sentence an animal to a lifetime of suffering."
Oh dear.
Last year, the actress was criticised for posting a photo of herself with a gun shortly after the Newtown school shooting in in the US, something she later described as 'the stupidest thing I've done in my life'.
