I think probably that the most famous name in my mobile is Amanda Holden, she’s quite famous. I think she’s got over a million Twitter followers, I was looking this morning. A lot more than me!

Apparently I was in Atomic Kitten or I auditioned for Atomic Kitten and didn’t get in. That was on my Wikipedia page.

3. How much is too much for a haircut?
Well I pay £70 for my haircut and I do it twice a year, sometimes once a year. That’s what my afro curls need. So really I think £100, £140 a year. Anything over that is too much as far as I’m concerned.

4. Strangest place you’ve been recognised?
Strangest place I have been recognised is probably when you are properly off-duty. So when I am in the supermarket shopping with the kids. Getting something for tea time you kind of want to be 'Angela at home' rather than 'Angela on the television.' So yes, over the freezer department in the supermarket.

5. Weirdest thing you’ve been sent by a fan?
Yes, you get sent lots of strange, weird things. I did once get sent a pair of tights and was asked to wear them and then send them back. I didn’t.

6. Best party ever?
The best party I have ever been to was the HBO party after the Golden Globes where I had just worked the red carpet but literally worked, not like ‘worked it’ in a great way. So I actually worked and then went to the HBO party afterwards and it was just pure LA, Hollywood wall to wall celeb-tastic, cocktails, everything you could ever imagine it to be. That’s a nice memory.

7. Ever used your fame to get what you want?
All the time, whenever I can I get it out, 'I’m off the telly don’t you know who I am?' - the whole shebang. I do it because I really love eating and I really like trying out all sorts of new foods and restaurants and things so if I can get myself a little bit further up a list, I’m there.

9. Best freebie you ever received?
I think it might be my X-Box Connect. I’ve actually got two and then I sent one to school because I felt really guilty and so I sent it to school to be put into the raffle prize and raise money for the Trust.

I went out with Will Mellor when I was very young, he chatted me up and he’s a celeb. He was a celeb then, he was in 'Hollyoaks' and I used to really fancy him.

Despite a weak start Angela 'Don't you know who I am?' Griffin had a tremendous finish thanks to her point blank refusal to answer the question about getting naked (showbiz!), her couldn't-care-less attitude about using her fame to get a decent table in a restaurant and hobnobbing with Hollywood's finest at the Golden Globes. What a star (literally).
