A mother who was killed with her three-year-old son by a train near Purley, south London has been named.
Donna Oettinger, 41, and Zachary died at Riddlesdown rail station at 8.29am, said British Transport Police. They said no one else was believed to be involved in the incident, which happened during the morning rush hour.

"Medics from the London Ambulance Service also attended, but Donna and Zachary were sadly pronounced dead at the scene," a BTP spokeswoman said.
British Transport Police senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Simon Taylor said: "Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the woman and child involved in this tragic incident.

"Officers are continuing to work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident although early indications show that no one else was believed to have been involved."
