Lindsay Lohan... Made Out Of Rubbish

We've grown used to Lindsay Lohan's headline-grabbing antics, whether it be for wild partying or court appearances but now the larger-than-life character has moved from the gossip columns to the art gallery.

Artist Jason Mecier has created a portrait of the Hollywood wild child made entirely out of rubbish.

The art piece is created out of objects you would normally throw away at the end of their life: make-up, jewellery, sunglasses, credit cards, cell phones, booze bottles, handcuffs, Visine, prescription bottles.

Mecier is certainly a big Lohan fan, saying: "I love Lindsay! She seems to love publicity and controversy so I think she will like it. It's all fun. This portrait is glamorous and bad ass! It would look great hanging in Lindsay's living room."

The artist's dedication to Lohan led him to spend over 50 hours creating the portrait.

Other unusual items in the colourful mosaic art include Lindsay's own music CDs and DVD films, two collectable Mean Girls nail files, four ant traps, 13 bullet shells, 29 cigarette butts and one tampon. No Partridge in a Pear Tree, sadly.

Will Lohan be delving into her pocket to hang Mecier's art on her wall?
