'The Voice' Coaches, Jessie J, Tom Jones, Will.i.am, Danny O'Donoghue, 'Abandoning' The Show's Finalists?

'Abandoning' Their Acts?

'The Voice' coaches have been accused of leaving the finalists to their own devices as the live shows approach.

Jessie J, Sir Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue and Will.i.am have apparently been so busy working on their own careers that they haven't had much time for the 20 hopefuls who have been selected for the finals, reported The Sun.

According to the newspaper, Tom, Danny and Will have been abroad, while Jessie has been busy working on new music.

A source said: "The Voice is billed as a singing competition with personal tutoring from celebrities. But the truth is it was all filmed months ago on a very fast schedule and now the wannabes won't see Tom, Danny, Will and Jessie again until just before the live shows."

However, Danny insisted he is "always available" to coach and mentor his acts, even if he isn't in the country, and a BBC spokesperson added: "It's ridiculous to suggest the coaches haven't spent enough time coaching their artists. Viewers will see as the shows progress all four spent a great deal of time with their acts."

Meanwhile, Jessie has insisted she is not a diva in real life.

The star said claims she is high-maintenance are totally untrue, suggesting being branded a diva comes with the territory for female stars.

"I don't want anyone to think that's what I am because I'm not. I'm the total opposite. I have eight people in my team, not 50. You can't win. I realise that happens to women. But do I want to turn on TV and see someone else in my chair? No! That's the only diva in me."
