Two Men Stabbed In Birmingham Bar

Police have sealed off a city centre bar after two men were critically injured in a stabbing.

The pair, aged 51 and 49 years old, are in a critical but stable condition in hospital after the incident in Birmingham city centre last night.

Police have arrested two men aged 18 and 20 years old in connection with the incident.

A West Midlands police spokeswoman said: "Officers were called to Bar Room Bar at about 8.39 yesterday evening following reports of a fight.

"Two men aged 51 and 49 were found with stab injuries and have been taken to hospital where they are in a critical but stable condition.

"Police have arrested two men aged 18 and 20 in connection with the incident."

She said inquiries were on going and the bar in the Mailbox complex in Birmingham remained sealed off for forensic investigation. Police are appealing for witnesses.
