'X Factor' Judge Gary Barlow Will Reportedly Quit If New Series Isn't 'Special Enough'

Why Has Gary Threatened To Quit?

'The X Factor' could lose its esteemed judge Gary Barlow unless bosses make this year's series "special enough", The Sunday People reports.

Barlow has has previously complained about novelty acts on the show and it's thought he wants a firm answer on who exactly will be on the judging panel for 2013.

This year will mark the 10th anniversary of the show and execs have reportedly offered the Take That singer a big money package to return for his third series.

The judging line-up for the next series has yet to be revealed, although rumours have circulated Tulisa will be dropped and replaced by former judge Sharon Osbourne or Spice Girl Mel B.

Louis Walsh is expected to return, as is Nicole Scherzinger, if bosses up her salary.

To mark a decade of the reality singing contest dominating our screens, boss Simon Cowell will also appear on the show via live video link.
