A “trend” which sees dog owners clothe their canine companions in tights is gaining momentum in China.
Translated from “gou gou chuan siwa”, images of hounds wearing nylons have been flooding the Chinese social networking website Weibo, Hong Kong news site Sharp Daily reports.

And they are now handily being collated on a website called, imaginatively, Dogs Wearing Pantyhose.
While many users are having a right old chuckle about how “sexy” the bemused hounds look, it feels to us like a game of dress up that’s gone just that little bit too far.
