Anyone missing a giant Styrofoam head?

The enormous noggin was found floating in New York's Hudson river by a rowing team from Marist College, who towed it to shore.

The Ledger-Enquirer describes the disembodied head as being 7ft tall and made from Styrofoam and fibreglass.

Just a giant head floating down the river. Nothing to see here

It has the appearance of a Greek or Roman-style statue, but is missing its nose.

A spokesman for the college told the Poughkeepsie Journal: "A lot of people have their theories. But we haven't heard from anyone claiming the head."

While it's most likely a theatre prop we welcome your most bizarre conspiracy theories below.
