'The Apprentice' returns to BBC One for a ninth series on 7 May as Lord Sugar and his advisors put 16 new candidates through the toughest business test going.
Each candidate must demonstrate business sense, creativity and leadership in order to impress Lord Sugar, Nick Hewer and Karren Brady, but only one applicant will triumph and become Lord Sugar’s next business partner and win his £250,000 investment.
This year, for the first time ever, 'The Apprentice' candidates will have to reveal their business idea right at the start of the show. The hopefuls will pitch to Lord Sugar from the get-go so that he can ascertain if they have the right skills to take part.
