A 21-year-old woman has been charged with an acid attack on a shop worker, police said on Tuesday.
Naomi Oni, 21, claims to have suffered burns and lost her hair and eyelashes after the chemical was thrown at her in Lodge Avenue, Dagenham, east London, at around 12.40am on December 30.
Mary Konye, 21, of Canning Town, east London, has been charged with throwing or casting a corrosive fluid with intent to burn, maim, disfigure, disable or do grievous bodily harm.

CPS London Senior Crown Prosecutor Damaris Lakin said on Tuesday: "I concluded that there is sufficient evidence for a realistic prospect of conviction and that it is in the public interest to charge Ms Konye with throwing or casting a corrosive fluid with intent to burn, maim, disfigure, disable or do grievous bodily harm."
Konye will appear before Barkingside Magistrates Court in Ilford, Essex, on Wednesday.
Oni, a Victoria's Secret worker appeared on ITV's This Morning in February.
Discussing her injuries, she said: "I just feel blessed to be alive. I have the same personality, but I'm stronger."
Oni nearly went blind in the attack, which left her with serious burns on her head, neck, arms, legs and body.
