Roberto Mancini is angry Manchester City officials had not attempted to stop speculation surrounding Málaga coach Manuel Pellegrini replacing him in the summer.
City were defeated 1-0 in the FA Cup final by Wigan Athletic for one of the competition's greatest shocks.
The build-up to City's second final in three years was overshadowed by reports Pellegrini had been contacted about replacing the Italian, who was angered the story had affected the club's preparation.
"You continue to speak about this for six months and in the last two weeks too much, and I don't know why the club didn't stop this," Mancini said at his press conference after the Wembley defeat.
When asked about the Pellegrini rumours in February, Mancini replied "F*****g hell, man," clearly exasperated by conjecture surrounding his future.

Mancini admitted earlier in the campaign he was in talks about becoming Monaco coach last year, but instead signed a new five-year deal with City after guiding them to their first title in 44 years.
City's loss to Wigan signals Mancini's first trophyless season at Eastlands in what will be remembered as a feeble campaign.
The club exited the Champions League at the group stage for a second successive season, finishing bottom of their group, and city adversaries United regained their title with four games remaining when 16 points clear last month.
Mancini added he didn't think City "played a good game" against Wigan but felt they were unlucky to lose.
"I don't think we played a good game. This is unusual because I don't think we played our football, we didn't run around a lot to win this game but we didn't deserve to lose," Mancini said.
"We had two incredible chances but were unable to score and now we can nothing."
