Tulisa Quit X Factor To 'Avoid Show's Craziness'

Tulisa reportedly left The X Factor to "avoid the show's craziness" after experiencing the "worst year of her life".

"Just wanted to let you all know that I won't be part of the X Factor panel this year," she wrote.

"I've had a great time on the show, but this year it's time to do something different. I'd like to thank everyone on The X Factor for two amazing years. Stay tuned as I have a very exciting announcement soon!"

Now a 'friend' has tells the Metro: "She had the worst year of her life last year and wants to get the focus back on work this year and not the craziness that goes around The X Factor."

The Female Boss was surrounded by controversy during the show, after she appeared in a leaked sex tape with ex-lover Justin Edwards and was later branded a "homewrecker" by boyfriend Danny Simpson's pregnant ex.

She also fell out with fellow judge Gary Barlow after he called her "fag ash breath".

Tulisa joined the show in 2011, along with new judges Kelly Rowland and Gary, after Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue all left the show following series seven.

The former N-Dubz singer achieved success in her first series, becoming the winning mentor with her group Little Mix.

However, she fared less well during her second stint as a judge, losing all three of her acts early on in the live rounds of the competition.

It is believed she now wants to focus on cracking Hollywood. On Wednesday, it was confirmed Sharon Osbourne will take her place in the judging panel.
