Having demonstrated she is rubbish at walking, terrible at stopping her boyfriend or ministers from offending people and apocalyptically bad at keeping people calm, Australian prime minister Julia Gillard may have finally found her forté.
She's proving to be pretty deft at dodging sandwiches.
Earlier this month it was a perilously airborne Vegemite snack but on Thursday a much meatier and presumably weightier salami version was menacingly hurled her way.

Gillard was visiting kids at the Lyneham High School in Canberra at the time.
Bravely laughing off the potentially bone-shattering incident she said: "They must have thought I was hungry."
