'Glee' star Charice Pempengco has revealed that she is a lesbian.
The actress - who plays Sunshine Corazon on the hit musical series - decided to come out publicly during an interview on US TV show 'The Buzz'.
"Yes, I am a lesbian," she confirmed. "But to those who can accept me, thank you very much. We are all equal, whether you are gay or straight."

Following the interview, she posted a video to thank fans for their support.
"I just wanna say thank you, personally... to all the people supporting me, to all the people who are still there for me," she said.
"Honestly, I'm very, very happy. I can't explain how happy I am right now hearing all [these] positive things."
