JLS For 'Strictly'?

JLS could be getting a new gig as 'Strictly Come Dancing' bosses are apparently keen to sign up two of the group.

Producers of the BBC One celebrity dancing contest want to draw in some of the band - who announced in April that they were splitting - to add an extra attraction for younger viewers, according to the Daily Star.

A source told the paper: "They're prepared to ask the boys to name their price. They think any one of them would bring loads of young, female viewers to the show, and help it continue to trounce 'The X Factor'.

"They also think having two of the lads would add an extra element of competition, which would be even better."

Former group member JB Gill took part in last year's Christmas special and danced to victory with partner Ola Jordan, doing the jive to 'Rockin' Robin'.

JLS: Through The Years

JLS, who were runners up to Alexandra Burke in 'The X Factor', recently announced that they would be going their separate ways after five years together.

In a 'Chatty Man' interview with Alan Carr shortly after the split, Aston Merrygold said: "We've been through a hell of a lot...we don't want to get pushed out of the industry, we want to obviously go out with a bang."
