Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson have long been friends, but the amount of time they are spending together after splitting with their respective partners John Mayer and Kristen Stewart has certainly got tongues wagging.
The pair were spotted with each other a Bjork gig in LA on Monday, but did their best not to be pictured together, arriving and leaving the Hollywood Palladium separately.
The long-term pals have comforted each other following their love splits, and their friends say that they have started to "fall for each other".
A source told The Sun: “They are both good friends but have been hanging out more and more recently.
“Their friends say they have now fallen for each other.”
They added: “They are both hopeless romantics, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if things developed quickly.”
The pair are now said to be planning a romantic Caribbean summer getaway to visit some of Katy's friends in the Bahamas.
However, a source told Grazia that Katy "doesn't want to ruin their friendship by rushing into anything".
Katy and R-Patz were first linked when they were spotted at a wedding rehearsal of two strangers at San Ysidro Ranch, near where Katy grew up, last month.
