These unconfirmed 'leaked' pictures of the back of the device - or rather, a device - purport to show a colour range of shades usually reserved for road cones, sweets and polyester clothing from the 80s.

Of course the images may not be genuine - which would be a blessing quite frankly.
Apple are rumoured to be releasing a cheaper, plastic version of the iPhone later this year that could retail for as little as £65.
Typically for future Apple releases specs, release dates and practically everything else is internet whispers and rumour.
The back is no better
