Your eyes do not deceive you - this is a turtle smoking a cigarette.
The little nipper is hooked on 10 a day, pestering his owner, Tang, whenever he lights one up.
Sometimes they even share one.
The reptilian tale of woe began when Tang tried to remove a chicken bone from his belly.
After getting a sharp bite he stuffed a cigarette he was smoking into its mouth, reports China's Changchun Evening News.

The turtle immediately finished the cigarette, much to his owners surprise and is now turtlley hooked.
Apparently Tang would welcome tips on how to make the critter stop - which is surprising as smoking is one thing, but going to the shops to buy a pack and then lighting one must be incredibly hard for a turtle...
