Sasha Marsden Death: David Minto On Trial For Teenager's Murder

Trail Begins For Stabbed Teen's Murder

A man will go on trial on Monday for the murder of a 16-year-old girl whose burning body was found in an alleyway.

College student Sasha Marsden was stabbed in the head and face before attempts were made to set her on fire. Neighbours who tried to put out the flames thought Sasha's body was a mannequin.

The teenager's body was found in the foetal position at the rear of Kirby Road in the South Shore area of Blackpool, Lancashire, on January 31.
