Nani Back With A Brace For United Amid Possible Monaco Move (PICTURES)

Nani bagged a brace on his return for Manchester United amid reports he has been offered to Ligue 1 side Monaco.

The Portugal international, who has been suffering with a broken nose, slotted in a first-half free-kick and then tucked away a second goal after the break in a 2-0 win at Crewe.

However, with his contract set to expire in under a year, Nani's six-year stay at Old Trafford could end before the transfer window shuts.

Nani showed good form at Gresty Road

Monaco's billionaire owner Vadim Vasilyev admitted United have offered Nani to them.

He said: “He has been proposed to us. He is a very good player, but there have been no talks so far.”

United captain Nemanja Vidić played for an hour as a second-string side, managed by former midfielder Nicky Butt, won 2-0 at Gresty Road.

The Serbian defender missed United's tour of Australia and the Far East with a back complaint but came through 62 minutes untroubled.

Antonio Valencia who also missed the trip, played hours after friend and former Birmingham striker Christian Benítez died.
