Tiger Woods' preparations for this week's USPGA Championship were buoyed by his superb WGC Bridgestone triumph, but the man used to sinking puts is now witnessing his Florida mansion sink into oblivion.

According reports, Woods and girlfriend Lindsey Vonn noticed cracks in walls and doors scraping on the ground at their Jupiter Island home.

A contractor has been called to the 10,000 square foot waterfront residence to insert giant screws called “helical piles” as deep as 24 feet into the ground.

Wood's mansion reportedly costs $2m

Each screw apparently costs £1,000 each.
