TV TONIGHT: David Morrissey In 'Field Of Blood' Sees A New Challenge For The Glaswegian Newsroom

TV TONIGHT: Beleaguered David Morrissey In 'Field Of Blood'

David Morrissey as a beleaguered Glaswegian news editor is just one of the things to enjoy in this second series of 'Field of Blood', set in a newsroom of the 1980s.

Based on 'The Dead Hour', the second of Denise Mina's Paddy Meehan novels, this two-parter follows the aftermath in the newsroom of the death of a human rights lawyer. Our heroes here are following the story, but there are powers that be who do not want it told.

Meanwhile, Morrissey has another enemy, in the form of a new editor-in-chief, who comes in armed with... a computer. The horror!
