Classic Macintosh Created With Raspberry Pi Is Cutest Mac Ever

The Cutest Mac Ever?

The original Apple Macintosh computer is a cult classic so what better way to utilise the latest innovation in programming than by recreating it.

This is exactly what John Leake of the RetroMacCast has done, building this tiny and ever so cute 1/3 scale model using a Raspberry Pi.

Not only does it look like the 1984 icon but thanks to the Mini vMac emulator, it also runs System 6.

Don't try and fit a floppy disk in there...

Leake had to slightly 'modify' the standard Raspberry Pi by trimming the SD card and USB cable.

Its .5-inch display gives a decent 512 x 384 pixels and you can even hook up a keyboard and mouse.
