G20 Summit, Simon Cowell's Baby Gift, Gareth Bale And A Waving Panda - Vote For Your Favourite Picture

The best pictures of the week are chosen by YOU voting on our interactive slideshow.

The G20 Summit has taken place and Syria is top of the agenda but it appears we've seen a softer side to President Putin as he was photographed being a gentleman wrapping a warm blanket around the shoulders of German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

In the Grand Canyon a photographer captured the most amazing electrical storm as lightning crashed through the skies. President Obama struck a very manly pose as he made a phone call in his Oval office, Diana Nyad emerged from the Atlantic Ocean after completing a 111-mile swim from Cuba to Key West in Florida, becoming the first swimmer to cross the Florida Straits without the security of a shark cage.

Gareth Bale became the world's most expensive footballer when he signed for Real Madrid for £86m and then his whole family stepped up for the photocall as he was unveiled.

Then we have our overly cute animals, the waving panda, the not so grumpy cat and our photogenic gorilla who can't resist showing-off his best side.

Happy voting and we will announce the winner on Monday morning.
