Justin Timberlake, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Lead MTV EMA 2013 Nominations (LIST)

Justin's Got Something To Smile About

Justin Timberlake's music comeback has been undeniably successful, with his 'The 20/20 Experience' record becoming his third consecutive number one album in the UK.

Now, his ability to write a hit and reach those falsetto high-notes, after some time out spent acting in Hollywood, has led the 'Mirrors' singer to be nominated in five categories at the MTV European Music Awards.

Timberlake is up for 'Best Male', 'Best Live', 'Best Look', 'Best US Act' and 'Best Video' for 'Mirrors'.

First-time EMA nominees Macklemore & Ryan Lewis also scooped five nominations, including Best New, Best Song for Thrift Shop, Best Hip Hop and Best World Stage. They will go head-to-head with JT for the accolade of Best US Act.

British acts One Direction, Rudimental, Arctic Monkeys, Tom Odell, Jessie J, Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding, Olly Murs and Bastille have also all received nods for awards.

The MTV EMAs will be broadcast live from Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome on Sunday, 10 November at 9pm.
