And American comedy's leading ladies didn't let us down at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards. Click play above to see them heckle host Neil Patrick Harris - and below to see them pastiche Jennifer Lawrence when they took to the stage to present the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
While both Fey and Poehler missed out on this year's award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series - that honour went to Julia Louis-Dreyfuss for 'Veep' - Fey (and Tracey Wigfield) did pick up the Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series gong for '30 Rock'.
Here's to them hosting the Emmys in 2014... We hope.
