Melanie Sykes has been arrested and cautioned by police after she assaulted her toyboy husband, Jack Cockings.
The 43-year-old TV presenter was taken into custody following the assault on Jack, 27, at their North London apartment on Tuesday evening.

It is understood that Jack called police when a row between him and his wife escalated.
After being questioned by officers, Mel admitted the offence and reportedly spent the night in custody.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said on Wednesday: "Police were called at 9.45pm last night to a residential address in Hampstead following reports of an assault.
"A 43-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of common assault and taken to a North London police station.
"She has since been given a caution for common assault. The victim, a man, did not require hospital treatment."
