A father's moving video of his premature baby son's first year of life has been watched more than 5 million times on YouTube.
Ward Miller weighed less than one and a half pounds at birth and his parents Benjamin and Lyndsey could only watch as their tiny and fragile son fought to stay alive.
But now, a year after he left hospital, Ward is thriving.
Dad Benjamin, from Ohio, documented his son's first year of life in a poignant video depicting the anguish and joy of their wait to take Ward home.
The video opens with an emotional Lyndsey holding her four-day-old son for the first time.
Ben said: "This video sums up my son's first year. He was born way too early, and the obstacles he had to overcome were really big, but not bigger than our God.
"This is a story of a mother's love for her baby. I made this video to commemorate his first year and how far he has come. Today happens to be his mother's birthday... so I made this as a gift to her."
Ward is now 16 months old and is just learning how to crawl.
Ben joked that Lyndsey has now watched the video so many times, she might make up half of its hits on YouTube.
The video has received 5 million views, and that number is still climbing. Rest assured that this video has not only touched the hearts of the Millers, but of the public as well.
