Whatever you think of George Osborne, few could deny he has a cute puppy.
The pooch was unveiled on Twitter by the Chancellor, who might have been worrying about Thursday's Autumn statement, on Sunday.

In 2011, Osborne reportedly acquired a budgie called Gibson, while Lola will also have to bond with Larry, the cat who has failed miserably to tackle Downing Street's mouse problem.
